Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at University of Nebraska, Lincoln working in the UNL Family Development Lab run by Dr. Rebecca Brock. I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Michigan in the WHIRLab under Dr. Amie Gordon and the Personality, Relationships, and Hormones Lab under Dr. Robin Edelstein. Prior to pursuing my Ph.D., I completed my BA in Psychology and English at UC Berkeley, where I graduated with highest honors.

As a social-personality psychologist, I am broadly interested in better understanding romantic compatibility. In my work thus far, I have focused on partner similarity and aim to understand its role in relationships. Namely, when is similarity positive for relationships? What are the mechanisms through which similarity influences relationships? And how does similarity operate across different contexts and relationships, such as interracial relationships?
